Dear Marijuana Enforcement Division:


I am writing to ask that you support the following proposed new rules:

1. Please cap the amount of THC in all medical edible and liquid products to 100 milligrams per container. The discrepancy between medical and retail marijuana poses a significant risk of harm to children. Data show that children who accidentally ingest edible marijuana cannot distinguish between medical and retail marijuana products.

2. Please support the proposal that the potency of marijuana products be highlighted in the following manner: products with less than 10% THC in bright green, products with 10-25% THC in bright yellow, and products greater than 25% THC in bright red. This will provide an opportunity to better educate and inform the public of the different strengths of marijuana products sold in the commercial medical and recreational market.
